SDG 10 – Indicator 10.4.1 Proportion of students with disabilities
Figure 1 shows the statistics of students enrolled at Universitas Sriwijaya. The total number of students in 2023 was 35,463, including 32,254 Undergraduate students, 2,616 Master students, and 593 Doctoral students.
Proportion and Number of Students with Disabilities
Students with disabilities are given equal admission opportunities at Universitas Sriwijaya.
In 2023, there were 4 students with disabilities enrolling at Universitas Sriwijaya, and the proportion of students with disabilities was 4/35,463 = 0.01%.
To provide good service for students with disabilities, Sriwijaya University also takes the following steps:
- Signing MoU with the National Commission on Disabilities of the Republic of Indonesia (Figure 1).
- Providing comfort for students in the campus environment, for example parking space for the disabled, special lane for the disabled (Figure 2).
- In accordance with Ministerial Regulation of Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology No. 30/2021, Universitas Sriwijaya have established a Task Force to prevent sexual harassment and organized a campaign on the anti sexual harassment on campus (Figure 3) (SBR2024).
